This flapjack recipe is gluten free and dairy free and uses just 4 ingredients.  A great quick breakfast on the go, snack through the day our a dessert. Great for picnics or car journeys

Ingredients
  

  • 340 g Gluten Free Oats
  • 160 g Golden Syrup
  • 170 g Granulated Sugar
  • 170 g Vegan Butter

Instructions
 

  • Put butter, sugar and syrup in a pan.  Melt the butter and sugar on a low to medium heat until the sugar granules have dissolved.
  • Take pan from the heat and add the oats. Mix well, until the oats are coated in the melted butter mixture.
  • Line a 22cm square pan with greaseproof paper.   Pour the mixture into the tray and spread evenly and press firmly with a spatula.  Place the tray in the middle shelf of the oven on Gas mark 2 for 35 minutes.  For a gooier flapjack, cook for 28 minutes.
  • Remove the tray from the oven and let it cool completely before slicing.
