Ingredients
- 100 g Cornflour
- 3 Eggs
- 150 ml Soya Milk
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to Gas mark 7.
- Add around a teaspoon of oil to each of the holes in the muffin tin, we prefer to use Goose Fat.
- Place the tin in the oven for 10-15 minutes, until the oil is really hot. It needs to be spitting.
- Beat or whisk the eggs with the cornflour in a big mixing bowl. Once thoroughly combined, gradualy add the milk a little at a time. You may want to pour the batter into a jug to make the it easier to add the batter to the tins.
- For this bit you need to be quick!! remove the tray from the oven and immediately fill each hole with teh mixture until just under 3/4 full. They should sizzle a little. Remember be quick, get them back in the oven asap.
- Place back in the oven for around 25 minutes until golden and rise, DO NOT OPEN THE OVEN DOOR while they are cooking. this will ruin them.
- Remove them from the oven and add to your roast dinner.
Notes
- Use Room Temperature Ingredients: For the best results, ensure that your eggs and milk are at room temperature before making the batter.
- Don’t Overfill the Cups: Fill each cup of the muffin tin only halfway with batter to allow room for rising.
- Preheat the Tin: Heating the tin before adding the batter helps the Yorkshire puddings rise properly and ensures a crispy exterior.
- Avoid Opening the Oven: Resist the temptation to open the oven door while the Yorkshire puddings are baking, as this can cause them to deflate.
